Good News indeed.

Let us hope we are getting a Casey Kelly or Westmoreland talent rather than Ryan Dent or Jason Place. Ugh….have to wait 8 months to find out.

Yeah

but Dent and Place are still young and have high potential. They could turn it around you never know. Youk didn’t play in Boston until he was 25 and he turned out alright.

Yeah, but Youk just stalled a bit in AAA.

Place and Dent have yet to get started. They’re gonna need to prove that they’ve got something for them to not be called busts.

At least they both managed to get the OBP up a little bit this year, but that’s not what you ask for out of 1st round talent.

Place

I saw him play this year. I watched him closely. He seems like he has the talent, but nothing has really clicked on it yet. He’s working on raw skill; he’s not developing. He needs a serious offseason session with SOMEONE to help him get going.

Oh nom nom elbow ligaments.

How the hell does his arm not snap in half with that delivery?

C'mon Philadelphia!

Your closer sucks, get a new one and give us a first-rounder!

Hell, I’d be happy enough if the Nationals signed him and we got the first second round pick.

My money is on St Louis or the Cubs in that one!

Except it is HORRIBLE.

Try recreating that position right now. Now go grab an ice pack.
