Diaz is already a Gold Glove caliber shortstop. His hitting is in question, but he had solid numbers in 2008.

Stolmy.
For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09

Inconsequential votes though.
It doesn’t affect much in the real world.

I know Stu Sternberg reads DRB. He comments sometimes too.

Stolmy just seems to have more potential.

He's extremely powerful, from what I've read.
Could be a lesser King Felix, unless I misunderstand the reports.

I fail to see how Stolmy could be King Felix
He’s not very powerful, he relies basically on his changeup, that is indeed very good.

I don't know.
A quick Google yielded a couple of scouting reports saying that he could bulk up and throw a little faster than the low 90’s he’s at with his fastball right now.

He could
But by his age, King Felix was already throwing like 200 MPH.

He also has nearly 40 pounds on Stolmy while being the same height.
That could be a LOT of muscle.

Muscle?
You sure? Plus, when King Felix was born he threw a 100 MPH strike off his umbilical cord.

101 mph.
Get you facts straight.

True. I don’t care what they say about straight heat in major league baseball. If you can throw 200 mph, you will win ball games … and kill some people.

That's why Felix stopped doing that
He killed some catcher and a couple of umps.

I like Yamaico Navarro.
Middle-infielder with surprising pop = Sign me up! Plus, Sox Prospects, BA, and MLB all have him 9th or 10th, and they know more about prospects than I do.

Navarro should get ahead of Kalish
Kalish is THE most overrated prospect we have.

I like Navarro, but Diaz’s ability makes me like him more. I dunno, though. I’m torn.

I regret my vote.
I shoulda gone Westy, but I went Kalish….
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!

Diaz
Great defense and has hit at every level they have put him at. Look for him in AAA in the middle of the season still raking.

Great point.
I also think the big club likes him more, too.
