I’m going Almanzar, Westmoreland, Kalish.

I’m going Almanzar, Navarro, Kalish, Westmoreland. I don’t know why, but I have no faith in Westmoreland…
He is thought of as being one of the great natural athletes in the system; maybe even in his draft class. For me his ceiling makes him worthy of a top ten position.
"no1 has time to read your long comments, are you writing a book?"
Yeah, but Jason Place is another natural athlete.
And I’m sad to say I was once excited about the Sox drafting him.

That’s a fallacious comparison. For a starter, there wasn’t nearly the same amount of hype or interest in Place’s drafting as there was in Westmoreland’s. They’re simply not comparable. I have never been sold on Jason Place.
Kevin Goldstein described WML as perhaps one of the top three athletes in the draft. He is a genuine five-tool talent.
WML was rated #7 by BA, #5 by BP and #5 by Sickels. Olney called him one of the top young players in the draft. It would be bloody-minded in the extreme not to at least consider WML next.
"no1 has time to read your long comments, are you writing a book?"
The more I think about it, the more I wish I could revise my votes to make him about #6. Though I do tend to think quibbling over a position or two in a top 20 is a waste of energy: prospects after the top three ought to be grouped rather than ranked, in my opinion.
"no1 has time to read your long comments, are you writing a book?"
I just think Westy is a high-risk guy
Because of injuries and shit… If he’s healthy, he should be something.

Absolutely. I’m backing him because of his ceiling, not because of his floor.
"no1 has time to read your long comments, are you writing a book?"
His ceiling is great and all...
And I really am not trying to be argumentative with you. I just think his value is somewhat tainted because of just having shoulder surgery and because he has yet to play in a pro game.
And Jason Place was a 1st round pick who at age 18 hit very well in the Rookie League. He was once the #9 Prospect on soxprospects.com and at that time was ranked higher than David Murphy, Lars Anderson, George Kottaras, Brandon Moss, and Jed Lowrie. Granted that was the website’s opinion, but I think it was at one point the general view of Red Sox fans that he was going to be one of our top prospects someday. Obviously, that day hasn’t happened yet.
I will say this about “Westy,” though, he has mountains of potential. But so far, that’s really all.

All that said...
In that prospect ranking where Jason Place ranked ninth, Lars Anderson ranked twelfth. I think it would be a little premature to rank Westy in the Top 10.

Sorry,
I meant to say that Lars Anderson ranked twelfth and hadn’t played in a pro game yet…

This one should be obvious.
No. 8 is Grace Park.
"It's just a tiny little nick, but it hurts when I get champagne in there."
- Jason Bay, on getting spiked scoring the winning run in ALDS Game Four.
Tejeda before Argenis Diaz?!
Love ya Randy, but that’s just wrong.

WTF is up with your sig?
And I doubt Tejada’s gonna win this one. Diaz will have an equal chance.

Is that the one where the little yellow dog clone of Shake
keeps on telling Carl, “Tonight……you.”

That one
Handbanana, one of the most talked about episodes. I think you can see bits of it in the Youtube, but I’m lazy to check.

I've only seen that show once or twice.
Not my choice.

It's definitley a show that you have to watch more than once to get it.

Well, for I think for some people it is.
My brother and I watched it and thought it was amazing.
Sex and the City = Annoying, promiscuous older women
Aqua Teen = Losers who watch Adult Swim.
And I’m proud to be one of those losers who watches AS.

I meant I want to watch it more often, but the parental units frown upon it.

Nice.
Hmm… animated comedies… I think I have seen every Simpsons episode since 2000.
However, Family Guy > Simpsons in funniness.
Simpsons > Family Guy in appropriateness.
Futurama = cheap knock-off of Simpsons (Groening) and the only part I actually laughed out loud due to that show was this:
[Hermes is threatening to jump off a building.]
Planet Express Crew: No! Don’t jump!
Bender: Do a flip!
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
The ones pre-2000 were funny and classic
But the ones since have been really funny.
I don’t like Family Guy very much.

Family Guy
It’s not the actual jokes sometimes, it’s just the delivery. Like, Stewie’s jokes aren’t all funny, but it’s more the delivery. IMO, jokes are 70% timing, 20% delivery, 10% material.
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
More delivery.
Braces factor. And Family Guy IS the Simpsons.

Talented, smart player but has yet to do anything amazing in the system.
Tejeda has yet to do anything.
"no1 has time to read your long comments, are you writing a book?"
Agreed
And I see other guys with a higher upside than him, like Price or WMB.

Tejeda was signed the same day the Sox signed Engel Beltre.
……And now I want to cut.
