WTF?
Trading… Papi? Why? To which team? Why would the Sox ever do something like that?
Mother---- him and John Wayne!

He's not exactly having his best season
And he is kind of on the bubble with his wrist. I would never trade him, anyway.
Who would we trade him for? Albert Pujols? I’d actually prefer a lefty luike Ortiz, but why would we trade him now? He hasn’t done anything like Manny has. He just got injured and had a bad year.
He who hesitates is tagged out between first and second base./ Media is plural for mediocre./ If the left part of the brain controls the right part of the body, then only lefties are in the right mind./ If you think the Rays suck, then try walking to Boston in Joe Maddon's shoes. That way, when you say they suck, you're in Boston and you have his shoes!/ Baseball is like church, many go, but few understand.

Do you really think that this needed to be posted?
The results are kinda one sided.

Well It Was A Logical Continuation of the Main Article
Personally I’m glad to see the results are so one sided….because the lack of talk about David Ortiz had me seriously wondering how loyal Red Sox fans were to him for a while. Still, happy to see that at least Red Sox Nation still believes in Big Papi. Peace.

We had other stuff to talk about:
Manny-Baycon trade
Who-lio sucks/Jed-I rules
Feeling dirty for rooting for the MFY
Our injury woes
Bandwagon fans (goes along with the third item)
Kotsay’s wife
The Devil Rays (oh, wait that was covered in the fifth item)
etc. etc.

Of course they shouldnt and wont trade ortiz.
But as far as loyalties go, the manny situation has shown us, it wouldnt be until AFTER ortiz was traded that people would be like “Oh he was getting towards the end of his career, his power was lower, this is for the best.”

Okay, who voted yes?
NG, the Rays/MFY fans, or someone else?

ummm... I voted once (not one to stuff the ballot boxes).
I like Papi. My dog is named Big Puppi.

Well The Numbers Seem Pretty Conclusive, BUT
I see a few people have voted yes, effectively spoiling a potential perfect 100% No vote. Guys, I’d love to hear why you think Ortiz should bet traded, it’s a bit of a bummer that you didn’t leave any comments explaining your decision. Still plenty of time though, will the “Yes” voters please stand up?

No sooner said than done: ORTIZ HOMERS IN GAME 1
How ironic that after debating over the last few weeks or so, Big Papi came finally came through the other night with that three run blast. Way to go Papi!!! Is this just coincidence or did my innocuous post on trading a struggling but beloved hitter spur him to play like his former self? Who knows, maybe David Ortiz logged on to OvertheMonster before that game. (I have a secret suspicion that bs.uf15bosox9bears23 is Ortiz in disguise, am I right or right?)
