What?
Ellsbury grounded out weakly, Pedroia homered, Papi struck out on a half swing, Youk hit it hard and didn’t make out, and Bay hit it semi-hard and made out. So I’d say one out was made by hitting the ball hard, but it’s not like that was right at Lind.

We know he’ll likely give up 3-4 runs, but he’ll keep the game close and eat some innings. I’m actually glad we got him.

Nice job, Sox! Scoring 8 runs against the top staff, winning in an uneven pitching matchup (Marcum > Byrd), and getting scoreless innings from the pen. Can’t ask for much more than that. Except maybe the Twins and Rays losing.
