No Drew sucks. Also, I’d rather have Casey than Cora in the lineup.

Today's my birthday!
The only thing I want is a 13-2 win.

We have been hitting the ball hard, but outs are right at people.

What?
Ellsbury grounded out weakly, Pedroia homered, Papi struck out on a half swing, Youk hit it hard and didn’t make out, and Bay hit it semi-hard and made out. So I’d say one out was made by hitting the ball hard, but it’s not like that was right at Lind.

It was one of those "catch, then dive" not a "diving catch".

Marcum getting hit HARD.
Bay scorches one, but it hangs up too long.

Terrible delayed throw
but good job by Pedroia to make it look close. Safe.

But Rios homered off him
So it’s nice to see some consistency from Byrd.

Jays announcer just said Papi missed "a month"
OK, Toronto guy, OK.

I'll be cutting in and out
because Tropical Storm/Depression Fag Fay keeps causing power surges.
Crisp sucks more momentum?

Crisp and Ellsbury back to back is a killer combo
And not in the good way.

as opposed to
The Papi-Manny combo.

Byrd crap
5-4 after an Overbay homer. How long is this guy gonna last for us?

Got home just now
This one looks sweet.

Byrd actually pitched pretty well tonight
And the bats came through against a guy who had been tough on them previously.

The byrdman will give us this kind of start
We know he’ll likely give up 3-4 runs, but he’ll keep the game close and eat some innings. I’m actually glad we got him.

I guess
But I don’t see the point of taking Helton these days, but somehow it gave me memories of the time we nearly had him. :)

Double play ends it.
Nice job, Sox! Scoring 8 runs against the top staff, winning in an uneven pitching matchup (Marcum > Byrd), and getting scoreless innings from the pen. Can’t ask for much more than that. Except maybe the Twins and Rays losing.

missed almost all of the game
but happy with the result.
I hope LAAAAAAAAAA beats MN.
