The second one should have been a strike 'em out-throw 'em out DP
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Lester
If he doesn’t go at least 7, we will need at least a 9 run lead to win this game…that’s how little faith I have in getting through the 6th and 7th innings with our current crop of relievers.

his numbers have been good enough, but id say in the majority of his starts its been frustrating to watch him trying to hit the strike zone.
by spinz on Jul 3, 2008 9:04 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs

All that talent, and he still walking 6/9 innings.
by sydneysox on Jul 3, 2008 9:05 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I do not agree
His walks are way down from last year. I’ve said it before: I’ve enjoyed watching him most out of all our starters.

clutch start
Great job by Lester. Only 105 pitches, so we shouldn’t worry too much about it being a CG.
By way of comparison, Dice-K needed 101 pitches to get through 5 innings last night. Dice-K is a good starter, but he really needs to work on keeping his pitch count down.
