No Lugo. 7-8-9 looks awful. Let's hope Ells can get something going to break out of his slump.

As routine a play as you'll ever see

It’s a good thing Cora has a good bat, or he’d be useless.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

*Starts the slow clap for DD*

And wonders: while Cora sucks, is there anyone in MLB that has a good backup MIF?

Or one that even could've been predicted to be good.

Ramon Vasquez, as we all know, doesn’t count.

Sit down, Hinske

I read that article in the site of SI, about knuckleballers, and they said Wake could even pitch until he’s 50 or so. I guess he couldn’t, but if such thing happens, I’m all in for it. He’s not the best pitcher ever, and sometimes he sucks, but I got a weakness for the knuckler.

Is that gloating by a troll visitor? It’s July & it isnt a play off or world series win—

The Sox will be fine—- tomorrow is another day

normally I dont feed the trolls but

ya said much way than “go rays” & it wasn’t substantive. If you want to talk sports I am sure plenty of OTMers will engage you.

I was not a Sox fan or born in 1918 but that being said your comments are nonsensical. Congrats for being a Rays fan hopefully they will win a series in your lifetime—those of us at OTM have witnessed two by our beloved Sox but we cheer for our Sox all the time – even when we seem to be pi$$ers…

Have a nice night; & I think i speak for all when I say—feel free to stop by & talk baseball ( & not trash) anytime

I was born and raised in St Peterburg, Florida. I jave been a Rays Fan since their inception

Just figured I’d let you know. Now were you a Sox Fan prior to the first World Series they won in 2004? Unless your an old geezer and are amazingly alive when the won what seems forever ago before that.

A lot of our hitters are not hitting shit lately

Taco, Youk, Tek, and others I can’t remember. And we’re already playing without Papi, so our line-up is effed up right now.

It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

Taco was money tonight though

Forcing errors, stealing bags and driving JP Howell batty. If the middle part of our lneup had done anything right he would’ve had three runs.

I’m worried about Manny. He needs a break. We should vote him out of the All Star game so he gets a couple days gwtting his head straight with playstation2, or however he spends his free time.

Manny ain't the only bad man.

Yeah, Manny needs a break

And while Taco had a nice game, it was quite a while since he had anything at all going for him. Let’s hope he’s back to his old self.

And Manny must play Grim Fandango. I don’t know why I always picture him playing GF. :)
