That said, the Sox’ pen looks good. Paps and MDC are very solid. Aardsma, J-Lo, and Hansen are good. Only Oki and Timlin are shaky.

Masterson will have an innings cap

So you’re likely to see both. I think Buchholz will be the far better pitcher. But Masterson has been solid. I’m just not sure how long it’ll last. He has been giving up a lot of long balls lately.

Bowden, Lester and Buch all have better stuff than him, and Masterson has 2 really great pitches, but those 2 really great pitchers would be better coming from the bullpen.

Really? I think it’s too early for him as well, but I think that around september next season he will hit the majors. His numbers are simply too wonderful.

Our bullpen is looking way better, mainly because MDC got his shit together and Javi didn’t start sucking again. Aar has been solid all the season, and Hansen is really good from time to time. Smith also looked good, and I wouldn’t mind seeing him today.

I don’t know if Timlin will be back, and Oki’s FB these days are almost Zito bad.
