His OBP for the season is .315, his lowest since 1998

And guys seem to be stealing more bases against him (28-8, okay, but Eric Hinske stole 3rd just the other day, so the numbers don’t really tell the full story). This might be the last season we’ll get some production out of Tek, and this is just scary.

But a lot of Lugo haters use his somewhat small RBI amount as a point on how bad he supposedly is. Of couse, they don’t remember that he usually bats 9th.

My problem with Lugo is that he is a bad fielder that sometimes make a somewhat great play. I guess that he could be a captain for the Yankees, then…
