4 straight K's to begin a game?

Dustin ends it with a NICE pop up… :)

Nice inning we’re having, people… :)

I think dumping Mirabelli

was one of the best moves Theo has made. While Cash is obviously not going to hit at the same clip he’s hitting at now, his D has been impeccable and he’s been nice at the plate too.

He's a great guy

I’m glad to see he’s having somewhat solid numbers for the season.

Well

Wake gave us a Lester there…

You know what

I’m not a fan of bunting with nobody out and a runner at 2nd. Papi didn’t get the sac fly, and now it’s 2 outs with a man in scoring position… Like he would be without the bunt.

WTF?

Loading the bases with two HBP is not very usual…

So Wake's given up 3 ER in 5.1

Much different from 1 in 5.1. Thank you, Aardsma.

He really needs to learn control

He’s quickly becoming our Kyle Farnsworth.

by soxaholic on May 17, 2008 10:31 PM EDT up reply actions

Aardsma?

Wake shouldn’t have been left to face Bill Hall. Aardsma gave up a single, it’s not like he gave a grand slam.

But loading the bases for Braun is VERY

V-E-R-Y stupid.

by MerryGoByeBye on May 17, 2008 10:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Aardsma

got a strikeout, hit a batter (moving two into scoring position), let both Wake’s runners score off a single, and walked the next guy.

by soxaholic on May 17, 2008 10:34 PM EDT up reply actions

Aardsma

He entered the game with 2 men on, and got a K. Then he hit a guy, walked another, and gave up a single. On his defense, I tried to compare what he did with what Oki did the other day, which was far worse. And Wake should not have been let in the game to face Bill Hall, imo.

I’m not being very coherent because I’m hungry and I’m too lazy to eat something now. I’m sorry. :)

I'm on gameday

The DP was hard to get, or Lowell/Pedroia didn’t get it right?

Impossible to get

The ball was by Lowell when he picked it, and Hall took out Pedroia going into second.

Jacoby's speed is such a catalyst

He reaches on errors a lot. Stealing second the ball has been thrown into center a bunch of times so far this season. These things don’t count statistically, but his speed is a game changer.

It’ll be bad for us, and mainly for him!
