I AM OFFICIALY A JED HEAD

I live right next to palo alto, california so i have watched this kid since his stanford days. He was the heart of that team and is really a great player. He's all hustle and can really field well and if you saw him the other night in minnesota u know he can hit too. I guarantee by allstar break if lugo is under .250 with his ba jed will be starting at shortstop. Our young blood rookie magic will work again into october. whos with me?

Second the Motion

When Lowell came back and Cora was still injured I figured Terry would give him a bunch of days at short to see how he handled it. He got by my count 4 days in at short and 3 at 2B. At both positions he had a perfect fielding percentage and hit well.

If he didn’t prove he was ready with his short time up then I don’t know what it would have took. He played in half as many games as Lugo and is only 2 RBI’s short of Lugo. The guy was perfect in nearly everything he did. He deserves to be our starter.

Jed's a winner

I’ve seen Jed play four times, and have followed his career since his Freshman year at Stanford. The guy is a winner. He is extremely level headed, which he gets from his great parents. I know that hitting .310 over 17 games is not an indication of his offensive skills, or 17 no error games an indication of his defensive skills, but to watch him – he has the necessary skills. He should be on the roster. Hell, he should be starting at SS.
