In Boston

I'm sitting in my hotel at my laptop, looking out of my window into downtown Boston. I have my brand new press pass right next to my computer. My press pass is like my ticket to heaven. I am so excited for tomorrow that words can't even express it right now.

Before I go take a dip in the pool, I would like to ask you guys a question: are there any questions you would like me to ask a specific Sox player for you? Feel free to post them in this thread and I will pick a few tomorrow before I go to the game to ask the players.

Don't forget; game time tomorrow is 2:05 PM ET.

For Theo:

The Red Sox roster has a healthy mix of veterans and young talent. What do you see as the Red Sox' most glaring need for 2008 and beyond?

"You know you're having a bad day when the fifth inning rolls around and they drag the warning track." - Mike Flanagan, Baltimore Orioles pitcher, 1992.

For Pedroia the destroya:

Do you do anything at the plate and around the bases to get the opposing pitcher off his game?

Follow-up:
After a slow start in '07, you ended up having a great season. What are your personal goals for this season?

P.S.: Love the website.

JD: Where did this sudden pop come from in the last few games? New Workout program?
Theo: If Buchholz does not work out, and with Schill out, are there any plans to trade for a big-name starter?
Wake: Do you think that Cash is going to be able to handle your knuckler with the same poise that 'Belli did in years past?

Stupid picture won't post. It's the Stephen Wang study using Chernoff faces to represent statistical measures. You can find the NYTimes article here.

Sweetness...

Love the new site and the idea that you will ask players questions on our behalf. That's truly amazing-- THANK YOU!!!

How's papi's knee feel?
Ask Papi what he thinks of Manny this year-- good start, seems really into it, better shape, are you guys thinking about another ring?

On another note: would you consider posting the next 4 or 5 projected starters for both the Sox and our opponent? I'm there Thursday: Beckett vs ______ ???
Not sure, but thought OTM might know, and a great feature to drive traffic.
