OT: Red Sox (3-3) @ Blue Jays (3-2)
Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays
We've got a nice pitching matchup today: The Doc vs. the Wounded. Fitting, huh?
Josh Beckett makes his season debut after back spasms during spring training. For the Jays, it's one of the best in the game, Roy Halladay. Halladay lost his first game of the season after going 7 innings and giving up just 3 runs.
Some people are curious if Beckett is healthy enough. I've got to think that if Beckett wasn't fully ready to go then he wouldn't be pitching in today's game. I expect some good things out of Beckett today.

never thought i'd say this, but...

Wells with a 2 run shot
but Manny just made a very nice catch to rob the Big Hurt.

But it looks like Tek's bat has returned
with a solo shot to start the 5th. 2-2

That was really disappointing
1 pitch from MDC = 4 runs off the bat of Thomas.

Good thing to get the April jitters out of the way now.
The Jays usually limp into the fall injured and depleted so let's get these games out of the way now.
