Can we just please win a game? I feel like we're already one a 9-game losing skid or something. Tonight, Mr. Buchholz will change all that. Your starters:

Buch
Great game so far, too bad that we’re not hitting well AGAIN.

Gameday shows Youk never moved the bat
was it a cardboard cutout in the batters box?

As much as we like to rag on Coco
he’s a demon on the basepaths. Just went first to third on a WP. Good stuff.
Finally some good luck coming our way
Sox are one up!
good pitching match-up
who knew?
Buch through 6 on 86 pitches; 1H, 2 BB, 5K

I am curious to know why
Drew got DH instead of Manny. Not that it matters a huge amount, I guess. Weakest fielder?

By the way
Youk is now the sole owner of the all-time MLB consecutive chances at 1B without an error record.
Changeup
Wow, he’s throwing more of that than usual. Or am I wrong?

well I'm here..
and I don’t give a crap about gridiron, professional basketball or any other, lesser sport. All I care about are the Sox and Buccholz is just awesome.

Neither is trying to show up the other
Hopefully they’ll both be on the Sox staff for many years to come
I hope so Soxaholic, but if he keeps being a scumb*g and walking everyone got to get rid of him and let Masterson try. 15-11 not bad but a fustrating loss.

That's an incredibly disheartening loss.
Kudos to Buch for a fantastic game. The Rays have gotten lucky two in a row.
Lucky might be an overstatement
They pitched a great game tonight on the other side and got the big hit that we couldn’t. Not sure that’s luck. But I understand the sentiment.

Argh
Again, one of our young pitchers have a great game, but the batters just can’t help…

No fun
I am having no fun now watching this team. Good pitching to start but poor mid-level length relief, and the batting is sporadic among Drew, Crisp, Papi (unfortunately) and especially with Lugo now heading into his last-year type malaise. I don’t know what to do about the mid-length relief, but the hitting would work out with time for Lowell and Papi, but Lugo must go. I am sure the other team members know what kind of clutch momentum killer he is, and that takes its toll on morale.
I want to keep watching, but I can’t stand watching Lugo and the inept play he fosters. Does Francona have a clue and does he care?? Things were so promising there for a while, but now real problems are showing .
Get off the ledge
We stole a few late games against CLE and TEX. We gave a few back here. None of which is worth overreacting to. I was guilty as most about jumping too high after the wins. Now just stay the course through this rough stretch. Need to take the next game. Lets go Beckett…you’re the stopper.

You are probably right
But that Logo! Errrrrr. Didn’t we go through this last year.
How many major league lives does this guy have?
Hello All. I'm a Rays Fan.
Just wanted to say these last two games have been great, highly entertaining. Both games could have gone either way. Shields-Beckett will be a great way to close this series out.
My Blog. Check it out if you wish.

This certainly isn't the same Rays team of the past...
With Kazmir waiting in the wings, I think this team is an above .500 team this year. They will definitely set a franchise record for wins.
