How many of Lugo’s hits are when it counts versus non-critical situations. Compare that to how much momentum he KILLS with his double play hits and strike out slooking. No comparison IMO!

LUGO MUST GO

I absolutely knew Lugo was going to hit a weak ground ball to second or ss and probalby for a double play. The only reason why it was not a DP was Lugo’s speed. This knd of consistent bluddering kills momentum and spirit.

This guy may or may not be a nice person, I don’t know, but he is no major league baseball offensive commodity. This team can be great, but not with a bludderer like Lugo eating away its momentum and spirit. HE MUST GO AND SOON!

Surely between Yuke, Pedroia and Jed Lowrie there is some way to keep Lugo on the bench. When Mike Lowell returns, it should even be an easier equation to solve. This team without Lugo and Crisp could be the best baseball team in the last 40 years offensively!
