How did we shed $25 million since last year? Weren't we @ $160 last year? Schilling got a paycut, and we peaced Piniero, Donelly, WMP, etc. I don't see how we dropped so much salary though.

might have the 4th highest payroll but that doesn't mean they only buy their players. I really hate people who think this and if they took the time to think about it they would realize the Red Sox do it the right way. Sure they over pay some guys but all teams do or have at some point. I think most of the finger pointing is just jealousy over the 2 WS titles.
