Anderson #25 Prospect
21-year-old Lars Anderson was listed in MLB.com's top 50 prospects list at number 25. I'm sure everyone is just as excited about this guy as I am. The report on him is very favorable, and calls him an "All-Star-caliber first baseman that will contend for batting titles and RBI crowns, with plenty of homers to boot." The video also mentions that he could be ready to man 1B for the Sox by 2010.

David Price comes in at #1
This guy is so freaking scary. He could single handedly upset the balance of power in the AL East. Yes the rays won the division this year, but I don’t expect that to be a perennial occurrence. However, once Price is in the rotation, the rays will be here to stay.
The reason why Price was so good in the playoffs was because no one knew him. Rookies tend to dominate early in the MLB career (evidence: Buch), and Price hit us at a good time…
Yes, he had that unknown quality gong in the playoffs.
But still, he’s nasty. He’s what all the MFY fans wish Joba was.
Manny ain't the only bad man.
I’m surprised there’s no Bowden there. The Sox have one of the best systems in baseball (top 3, I’d say) and we have one representative right in the middle. Bowden deserves some credit, at least in the 40-50 range.
I think where Bowden
Wouldn’t be there is ceiling. His stuff doesn’t scream future ace.
It’s a repetitive something something, but it’s the line that’s out there.

It's a terrible list. You can find several more creditable
ones elsewhere on the internet without much effort. Treat this like the Gold Glove of lists.
