Yankees sign Kevin Cash
Ok, now it's gotten personal. Time to fight fire with fire.
Give me Andy Pettitte's number!

Do they have a Knuckler in their system?
If not, why did they do it?

Cash plays great defense.
He also knows our pitching staff, and might be able to help their hitters against us. Plus we’ll have to go through the process of finding someone who can catch Wakefield. Again. Why the hell didn’t we re-sign Cash along with Wakefield? WHY?!

That's it.
I officially hate the Yankees. Even more.
Well, I will appreciate for you to keep my zingers out of your mouth!

I'm Sorry . .
But who the hel.l cares? Cash sucked and will suck . . .Tex was not worth that money . . .I know Theo wanted him but this helps the sox . . .It sucks to get our faces rubbed in the yankees crotch but not a single game has been played in 2009 and the sox have a dam.n good team. Look for the sox to be aggressive in the trade market . . .I see something huge and unexpected. Besides the yankmes are still sore from pulling us out of their as.ses from the last few years and that pain won’t go away until they win another one . . .which is far far far from a given

Cash sucked with the bat, but he plays great D.
And he can catch Wakefield, which Varitek can’t. Maybe our AAA squad will be promoted and succeed with Wake, but I doubt it will be as seamless as with Cash.

I didn't hate Cash . . .
I just know that there are better options out there. I was very comfortable with his defense but we can do much better

Oh, it's ON now!
Does Pettitte even have a phone? I though he just mooched off the Yankees or Roger Clemens, whichever was closer.

MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!
When you buy every fucking FA in the market since you have a bad farm system and you just had a bad season, you’re an ass. But when you’re signing fan favs, role players that are not particularly good at whatever thar role is, it’s war baby.
Mother---- him and John Wayne!

The Yankees’ #3 catcher in ’08, Chad Moeller signed with, iirc, Washington.
If Posada’s shoulder is still not working correctly, Molina is going to be starting a lot more than they really want. He’s an excellent defensive catcher, but his stick is lacking.

George Kottaras
Cash was alright. My guess is they bring George Kottaras up from Pawtucket, 25 years old and a power hitter. He split time behind the plate there last year with Dusty Brown and is the guy that’s been catching Charlie Zink’s knuckleballs. According to his scouting report he has “extensive experience catching knuckleballs.” I’d like to see Zink get more time in Boston this year as well.
Yankmes are idiots. They have a terrible coaching staff so they just try and buy their success.
