Looks about right in the AL
Although I don’t think K-Rod should be that high. The closer is an overrated role if you’re only pitching one inning at a time.
Man do I hate Longhorn fans, well except for the ones that actually went there.

Especially when
Paps and Nathan were better closers than K-Rod.
Papelbon: 69.1 IP, 8 BB, 77 K, 198 ERA+, 0.952 WHIP
Nathan: 67.2 IP, 18 BB, 74 K, 305 ERA+, 0.901 WHIP
K-Rod: 68.1 IP, 33 BB, 77 K, 198 ERA+, 1.288 WHIP
It’s a lot more like BB-Rod, honestly. Nathan, Paps, and Mo all have multi-inning saves, while BB-Rod had zero.

K-Rod got lip-service for the Saves record
Saves are a very “ho-hum” stat for me, dependent on many aspects that have nothing to do with the pitcher.
Blown saves are perhaps a better stat to count.

No disrepect to Lee
But game in and game out, I saw nobody tougher than “Doc” Halladay this past year. With support, he would have 25 easily.

Agreed
IMO, Roy Halladay has been the best pitcher in the AL over the last 3+ years. He is the most underrated pitcher in baseball.

Hi guys long time no see!
Sorry I was gone for so long, too much going on and I was helping out with the elections. The month or so after the World Series in my opinion is the worst time for baseball, just nothing really interesting going on until teams start making serious moves later on as the Spring Training approaches. I absolutely can’t wait for the World Baseball Classic.

Doesn't look like this season is going to produce any big awards for the Red Sox
Except Pedroia for MVP?

Full-disclosure:
My ballot went: Halladay, Lee, Lester.

Wait. It's possible I went with Santana in 3rd over Lester.

Halladay appeared on two fewer ballots than Lee. Hmm.

Some people should not be allowed to vote, or nominated for Vice-President.
I should find out who left Halladay off, because it cannot be defended. Lots more voters for the “real” Cy Young left him off, but let’s face it, we’re probably talking about ballots with Lee in the top spot, K-Rod listed second or third, and either a Yankees or Red Sox starter in the other spot.
