Step on their throats
Don't give 'em any hope. If you let them win a game in Fenway, then you are one more Halo win away from a deciding 5th game.
Those Angels fans at Halos Heaven think that just because of OJ, that somehow they are going to beat the Champs? Here's the link: http://www.halosheaven.com/2008/10/4/628009/1995#comments
I got some news for them, the Boston Red Sox have beaten the Angels 11 straight postseason games, and its not going to stop now.
Bring on the brooms!

Don't worry, it's fated already!
It will be the Sox against the Dodgers in the WS, and it will be known as the “trial of Manny” with a subplot of the “trail of Nomar” series

Let's not get ahead of ourselves--OK?
We haven’t won anything yet. The Angels are a good team, and they’re capable of winning three games in a row. While I don’t think they will, let’s see what Beckett looks like tonight. Saunders has pitched well against us. I’d like to see the series end here.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Don't you believe in fate????
Don’t you think there is a jokester type force in the universe which tries to maximize tensions, a sort of corollary to Murphy’s law. If so, what I said will definitely happen!

No I don't
I didn’t think the Sox were fated to lose in 2003 or win in 2004. Both time I felt they had teams that were good enough to be the MFY. In ’03, Grady choked. The following year, the MFY—and especially Joe Torre, who fell asleep after Game 4—choked.
Believing that sports teams are fated to do this or that is stupid. The Red Sox got their fair share of bad breaks prior to 2004. None of those had anything to do with fate (or curses). They had some good teams that didn’t win, like a lot of other good teams. They also made some awful personnel decisions and paid for them.
The best story this post-season is the Rays. The Cubs were a sentimental fave of some, but they’re gone. Why weren’t the Cubs “fated” to win? 100 years between championships has a nice symmetry, doesn’t it? How about the Rays? Worst to first, now that’s a great story. The Phillies have only won once in over a century. Why not them? Go on HH, they love fate there. You’ll get an earful about how the OJ trial or other playoff series affects what’s going to happen in this series.
I don’t believe in fate. Nor am I some bs MFY fan who believes the playoffs and World Series are a birthright. My team has won twice in my lifetime and I am grateful for that. The Sox are where they are right now because they are good—and deep. They have overcome injuries to get here. I believe they are a better team than the Orange County Angels. I was pretty sure they would win this series before it started (I picked Sox in 4). Stop talking about the Dodgers. The Sox still have another game to win to put the Angels away. After that, I’ll worry about Tampa or Chicago.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Tampa OR Chicago?
You know, I believe in the ChiSox coming back as much as I believe in fate.

You never know
It’s all about starting pitching, and the Chisox will be throwing their best today and tomorrow (if necessary).
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Wear 'em out!
I hope that the ChiSox-Rays series goes to 5, and ultimately that the White Sox win. I have a healthy respect for the Rays and the fact that they could indeed beat us.

Manny is the key!
It is all about Manny, the central figure in the universe!

You know what
I’d rather face Lackey than Saunders. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

I'm not sure ...
Both are good. I just don’t want to see a Game 5 with Dice-K on the mound.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Oh yeah, same here
Dice-K couldn’t quite hold a fucking 4-run lead. I’m giving him a pass because the Angels seemed very amped about that game, but he was AWFUL out there.

Dice-K held the lead.
But just for five innings, and just barely. He didn’t have his best stuff – his FB topped out at 92-93 mph, and he didn’t throw many breaking pitches except the slider.
Everyone, especially the commentators, kept saying he doesn’t throw many strikes. But that game he came out throwing strikes. He threw 67 strikes in 108 pitches, for a 62% percentage. If anything, he threw too many strikes, because the Angels ended up hitting eight hits off him, granted all were singles.
