After the Red Sox pulled out an unlikely victory in game one, they'll try and do it again in the game two matchup. Here's the info:

Not sure what to think here.
If Tito thinks the PAs Drew got last night got him back in sync enough to at least reach base tonight, then 1-6 is fine. Kotsay is a defensive choice; Casey always seems like steady eddie over there, but when he’s playing it forces DP to stretch more than he should have to to try to get to some balls. Cora at ss is based on a hunch and reinforced by a small sample. I dunno. I’d have gone with Lowrie, and hopefully IF Cora puts up a couple poor PAs he’ll be taken out. Not much to say about ’Tek, and he did get that perfect sacrifice down in Game 1, when most everyone I assume was cringing as he squared around.

You also have to keep getting Cora and the bench guys occasional ABs during the playoffs so that they’re not completely useless in an important situation.

Hmm.
Figgins did a piss-poor job in the leadoff slot in Game 1, but there’s really no better choice unless they’re going to stick Teixeira up there. Vlad is the only hitter who’s not a great matchup for Daisuke in theory. He can make contact with those pitches that other Angels will miss. That’s only in theory, though. I’m sure those in the lineup who might heed such advice have been told strenuously to look at a couple of pitches in each PA. Mathis < Napoli offensively, of course. Anderson is completely miscast in the #2 spot, again, but I’m not sure where he’d properly slot in this lineup. Might’ve switched him and Kendrick to show some confidence in the kid who has been unfairly lambasted for his role in the Angels Game 1 loss. I’ve liked Juan Rivera as a player for awhile, but he hasn’t been the same since coming back from injury. He looked like a “potential” stud in his Age-27 season (2006) but has been decidedly mediocre since then.

I mean I’d wring the necks of players who constantly screwed up, showboated or didnt carry their weight…I hate group projects bc it doesnt ever work out- always the lazy ar$es or incompetents who just cant get it together; Id make a crummy mgr bc Id rather do it all than show someone how & what to do…

Guys a question concerning the Sox uniform.
Notice how pitchers always have “Red Sox” stitched on to the collar? Now I have the authentic therma base that the players wear (the red one) but I could never figure out, why do the pitchers were a different therma base?

I'd say it's both.
Some guys are power pitchers who don’t look it while pitching.
Justin Verlander of the Tigers is a good example of this. Effortless 100 mph. Smooth pitching motion and delivery in my opinion. There’s also not as much load-up in Beckett, and he still is a power pitcher.

There are different factors, like leg stretch.
I found that stretching longer gives you more speed, but for me, less accuracy. I don’t know how Dice-K does it, switching from the leagues slowest windup to the leagues fastest stretch.
