Pre-game thread: How does it feel?
No, this is not trying to provoke trolls. So go away now if you were looking for a fight.
The question I am asking...
Does anyone feel less secure now that the Series is even? For some strange reason, I feel a little more vulnerable. Anyone else feeling this way?
Some possible reasons:
- Garza seemed to have our number.
- I have stopped my superstitions, and was on the brink of feeling like an idiot.
- Lester may collapse under pressure because he is so young, and the bullpen will lose the ability to throw strikes.
- The Rays youth may make them oblivious to being in such pressure.
- I'M SO NERVOUS!!
I have literally no idea why. Probably just nerves....
And now we play: The Waiting Game!

Feel free to comment about how you feel, up until gametime.

Bad fan!!!!
Remember when we were kids and we mixed sodas together and called them "suicides"? It was OK though, because Dr. Pepper was always there.
Okay, what Rays fan/NG voted that the Rays are going to win?
If you have any Red Sox blood in you, then you would vote “not very”.
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
There are ways of finding out.
WAYYYY at the bottom of mine shows my vote.

"For some strange reason, I feel a little more vulnerable."
That’s reasonable. When we’re down 3-1, we were not supposed to win. When we were down 7-0, seven outs away from winning, it’s virtually impossible that we were going to win. When we went back to Tampa having to win two, it’s unlikely that we were going to win.
When you’re not supposed to win, there’s no real pressure. If you win, it’s great, but if you lose, it was supposed to happen anyways.
However, tonight, we’re on equal footing, with an equal chance of winning. It’s more pressure.
Manny ain't the only bad man.
That's exactly what I wanted to say
But i did not know how to word it. Thanks.

I am excited and ...
confident about the Sox chances tonight. If the Sox can get a few runs early and let Lester settle down, they have a great shot at comeback #3.
Everyone in the lineup 1-7 is swinging it real well and our bullpen has been lights out. All the Sox need is a good start from Lester. If he keeps it under 4 runs, Sox win.
That's a good summary of what probably pretty mcu heveryone thought.
Predictions, anyone? Sox win 11-2, scoring all the runners they left on base last night. No, not 403.

I am not in everyone then.

Okay
1- Fuck Matt Garza
2- I’m still doing my superstitions, and I don’t mind feeling like an idiot if that helps us to win. :)
3- So could Garza, and the Rays pen has been more shaky than ours. It’s a game, man, anything could happen really.
4- Don’t think so.
5- SO AM I. But if the Sox win, it will be the best baseball game ever. Otherwise, I won’t get out of my bedroom tomorrow.
Do not stop believing.
Mother---- him and John Wayne!
Official song we have to play during every Sox rally:
