Here’s a question:
Which third baseman would you rather have on your team, Longoria or David Wright?
Always been a Wright fan.
But I’m wondering if Longoria might be better long-term, price-wise and defensively (might already be the best defensive 3B in MLB right now?). Wright’s probably more developed/polished as a hitter, which makes sense.

Why the fuck didn’t we see Paul Byrd there instead of Timlin? I know the result might not have been much different, but we were still trying to win it, right? Doesn’t Byrd give us a better shot.
