OTM
A&B: 3-4-5 hitters in Sox' lineup reach base at least 6 times.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Re: Open Thread: 9.17.07 @ Toronto
Hoping this OTM counts for something...

A&B: 2-hit apiece for Lowell and Ellsbury. Ortiz drives in late-inning go-ahead runs on a double, doing what we all wanted him to do last night.

What would Dogbert do?

OTM
Sox score at least seven runs

Over here, my sanity is questioned for making this prediction despite the lineup tonight. I say it'll just be worth that many more OTM points when it happens anyway.

Re: OTM
I wouldn't say I questioned your sanity...:)

Re: OTM
Yeah, but I give you credit for thinking it anyway!

Re: OTM
I'm mostly upset that ol' Tito didn't listen and threw Cora in the lineup anyway.

Re: OTM
Tito has a habit of making stupid lineup decisions when Wake starts and at least one starter other than Tek is injured. Frankly, I'm a little surprised he didn't shove his entire head up his rear by starting Kielty and Clayton, too.

Not a good start
Wake walks Wells on 4 pitches to start the bottom of the 1st.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Look Drew grounded out to 2B.  But wait, there weren't any runners in scoring position..

Re: Open Thread: 9.17.07 @ Toronto
What happened to our incredibly patient line up that made the Yankee pitchers throw like 200 pitches a game?

Re: No Youk, Tek, or Lugo
Youk and Tek were struggling.  I think it has more to do with the fact that McGowan looks tough so far and the Sox didn't get into Toronto until early this morning.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

McGowan is dominating
but Jacoby finally breaks through with a single. Let a new hit streak begin.

Nice hitting by Ellsbury
Down 0-2, he fought back to 3-2.  Then, he shot an inside pitch the other way.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

that Buchholz will pitch Wednesday

Re: It's been confirmed
I imagine that rules him out for becoming a reliever for the post-season.
Just my two cents. Keep the change.
