Great, McCarver

And then they use a Phish song to go to commercial.

These guys make baseball painful to watch.

Yup, hard outs.  Also, for a ground ball pitcher, Wang has gotten very few outs on the ground.  He has been up in the zone.  For him, that's just asking for trouble.

Re: Walked right into it.
McCarver is such an idiot.  He brought up the game where Pedro hit ve-Jeter on the hand and also "hit" Soriano.  The problem is Soriano's "HBP" was called a foul ball because he swung at an inside pitch.  He never got a base.

Re: Open Thread: 9.15.07 vs NYY
See, all is well is Red Sox nation. Beckett went out and won the Cy Young today.  Our ACE out pitched the MFY's ACE who cant throw his best pitch against us because we destroy it. Thus, he throws anything but the sinker, and we beat him that way as well. Can you say "we own Wang?" well I guess we can but it doesnt sound right.
Anyone else wondering how Coco can start in the playoffs with Ellsbury doing what he is doing?
Someone tell Johnny "f@#%ing" Damon we have our leadoff man/CF for the next 10 years, and hes way cheaper and will be better over time than he ever was. Damn, the future is bright. All this....WITH NO MANNY people!!!!

Since the end of May Crisp and Drew have had virtually identical batting averages with Crisp on top since the All Star Break. If I had to pick which one to keep, I'd keep the one who's distinguished himself defensively at least, and that sure as hell isn't Nancy Drew. I'd rather have Coco who actually seems to want to win rather than Drew, who only seems to want to pick up his paycheck and go home.
