Ellsbury out to prevent further wrist injury.

I've seen food poisoning mentioned elsewhere for Lowell's flu symptoms. Either way, does this mean we should hope for less 4/5 performances?

About f'in time Brandon Moss got another start.

Tito, of course, unsure of how much he should be sharing or simply doesn't care.
``He doesn't know if [it] was something he ate but he's got activity from both ends,'' said the manager.

My goodness. The privacy our athletes in Boston do NOT enjoy.

Activity....that's quite a pleasant way of putting things.  Geez we've got a few walking wounded right now with the everyday players, good to see the pitching staff still reality healthy.

Lester walks the lead-off hitter.  Nice start!

I think the Rays match-up well against Lester because most of their better hittere are lefties, and Lester is tougher against righties.

Awful start. He was over the plate or inside on almost all his pitches. Try the outside part of the plate. His pitches are sub 90 mph and his location needs to be better or he won't make it out of the second.

Si. I wish Moss seemed a little more confident in himself at 1b (and additionally, wish he had gotten more than 8 games exp. there at Pawtucket). With the possibility of being able to use two of our postseason spots on callup guys b/c of Donnelly and Clement, it'd be nice to carry Ellsbury and Moss on the postseason roster.

As it is, Hinske almost certainly will be there.
