Youk

I have been out of town for the last week, so I have been out of reach of a computer. However I checked the box scores daily and noticed that Youkillis hasn't started in like the last five games. I did catch that Youk happened to pinch hit for JD Drew, but then was replaced by Willy Mo before taking the field. I was wondering why this is? Injury? Rest?.....?

Sore quad. Same thing Papi's been dealing with, but I think Youk's is worse.

I haven't heard any talk of Youk needing surgery for his quad as seems to be the case for Ortiz based on recent comments, so I'd imagine Ortiz's is worse off.

Ortiz's problems are related to his knee, which is what will actually be operated on. Youk's (hopefully) is simply only a sore quad.

Ortiz's overall condition might be worse, but Youk's sore quad(s) kept him completely out of several games, which I think still makes him the "winner"? in the sore quad competition.
