Possible Playoff-Roster

There is so much talk about trade or not to trade so i would like to hear how should the Sox Playoff-Roster look like?

It is early to make such a decision, but Theo hast to do it now so we can join the fun.

Always in mind that we go to the Playoffs, these guys will be healthy in October and that the performance do not fall dramatically (if possible at all Mr. Drew and Mr. Lugo ; -)

I propose no trade because I would like to go with this team in the Playoffs.

The playoff roster has 40 players on it.

There are 25 guys on the playoff roster, and these 25 must be on the 40 man roster by August 31st in order to eligible for the playoff roster.

Regarding Oil Can's proposed roster, barring a trade, I have a hard time leaving Hinske out, because no one else can back up third or first (unless Papi plays 1st, allowing Youk to shift to 3rd). Though I do like Ellsbury there as a pinch roster/defensive replacement. Which would leave WMP as the odd-man out, which is tough.

Unless we dropped either Gabbard or Lester, who might be redundant as lefty long-men.

Just my two cents. Keep the change.
