A new Lineup

I think Drew would benefit heartily from batting 2nd in the Sox lineup. With Papi, Manny, and Youk behind him he would see a lot of nice pitches to hit--just what a man needs to break out of a funk. This guy may not be "fiery", but he's a good ballplayer; I'm not ready to give up on him.

I hereby submit for your approval a new Sox lineup

Dustin Pedroia (Scrappy Doo is one tough out)
J.D. Drew (man needs to see some meatballs)
Big Papi
future Hall of Famer Manny Ramirez
Yooooouk
Lowell
Lugo
Captain 'Tek
Crisp (reverse lead-off man)

I'm not ready to give up on him either, but I'm not sure whether the bigger pressure of the 2 slot (vs. dropping him to 6th/7th/8th) is the best way to get him going. Though I guess that's just a difference of opinon, I'm not sure which (if either) of us would be right.

Tek has actually been hitting pretty well; wouldn't mind seeing him stay 7th as I see that spot as "the guy who'd be 6th if the 6th hitter wasn't there". I agree that D-Ped should stay near the top, though, and Drew 2nd might help him out. Lugo before Crisp (or vice versa) would give them opps to steal.
