Breaking/Already Broken: Schilling Apologizes.

38 Pitches

As someone who's made it very clear I have major issues with members of the media that take little or no pride in their work it's the height of hypocrisy for me to say what I did, in any forum. I started this blog to give people a look into the life we live on and off the field, not to get into back and forths with people I don't like or have issues with. Doing that will only make this a rant filled no content bunch of words.

I'm glad he did this. I feel much the same about Bonds as Schilling seems to, but he went above and beyond in the worst possible way yesterday. Good to clear it up and admit a mistake, even if he might not be/probably wasn't wrong.

Re: ok
The nature of it was out of line. Bonds has never admitted to any of it, (steroids maybe, but said he unknowingly took them). The issue wasn't with how it was phrased, it was the whole slander/libel issue.

Basically, Bonds most likely did all the things Schill said he did, but has never admitted to one iota of it. Thus, Schill ends up being the liar.
