Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

What we've always known, they cheat, we don't

Random interesting tidbit. Amoung all the drug tests in the past couple years the Red Sox and Houston can boast to have the fewest failed drug test, with just one a piece. The Yankees? Tied for 4th most. Seems pretty in line with what we already know about both teams. You can find the whole article here

Its not surprizing because the yankees are an overly high priced team who end up paying for players who have had boosted stats. Steroids is clearly a problem throughout baseball, but it is nice the redsox arent connected to it really.

Re: What we've always known, they cheat, we don't
well, i tried to research the name and couldnt find anything anywhere. The one i was thinking of was guillmero mota but he never even pitched in a redsox game he was just on the team for roughly 10 seconds.

Re: What we've always known, they cheat, we don't
I've come to the conclusion theres a very distinct difference between "failing a test" and being repremanded by the major leagues. The redsox have not had anyone suspended over steroids, but apparantly somebody failed a test with mixed results.

This guy can't play with out cheating, the slide last night to break up the DP by DP, I mean he hit the bag and then practically got back up to threw his body at DP, I'm surprised nothing got called

The ump may have missed it, but I'm sure Schilling didn't. Arod's got it coming tonite, unless Petitte preemptively beans someone in the first.
Just my two cents. Keep the change.

As much as I'd like to see it, far better just to win the game and take two from three.

Me too, I have to admit. Except when it fires up a struggling team and gets them on a roll.

Not to inject a contrary opinion
but just cause the players haven't been caught doesn't mean they haven't cheated.
And the Yanks total caught is only 8, so it's still vastly below the number of players I suspect have juiced.
