Woohoo! Jacoby/Papi combo meal gets it done.  1-0 Sox. Do it Lester. Rooting for the Rockies = rooting for cancer.

You could tell then, that he would be a good player.

Today's Drink: Cuba Libre

So far so good. :)

Lance Armstrong...
The way the Sox are rolling reminds me of Lance Armstrong's dominance of the Tour de France races. And, a cancer connection to Lester.

Re: Open Thread: World Series Game 4 @ Colorado
and that is why the Rockies lose:

Sox 1st inning move the runner over to 3rd, Papi RBI.

Rox cannot move the runner over, no runs.

What does payroll have to do with Atkins not moving a runner over?

Lester after 2
32 pitches, 1H, 1BB, 1K, ERA 0.00, WHIP 1.00

I'd like to see the pitch count lower, but not bad.

This series only needs to go four games. McCarver, Buck & the rest of the sportswriters are out of material.

How many  more times can we hear references to 86 years, 1986, 2004 & Manny being Manny?

You know what? I'd take A-Rod. If he'll take a three year deal for a grand total of $30M.

If we're going to lose Lowell anyway, A-Rod is the only superior 3B on the free agent market, and at that price, we could trade him for some good players when he starts whining too much.
