Quest for tickets in Denver
Is anyone trying to get tickets to the series in Denver? I guess their website has been overwhelmed. I've been trying since 10am MT. Anyone have any experience with post season ticket buying? Do we have to pick up the tickets at will call or do they have online tickets? My most recent red sox ticket purchase was for an A's game (I live in CA now) and we got electronic tickets for those games. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I have thought about being in an oppsosing park and all, but I don't want to miss my chance so I'm going to at least try.

Re: Quest for tickets in Denver
Congrats
I found out tonite that I'm going to Game 2. I have to skip a day and a half of work, but it's worth it.
Good on you both

Glad it's not Game 5
(I'm not predictng a sweep, I'm just saying that'd be unfortunate...)
Rockies Fans?

I figure I should be ok Sat/Sun. Just thought I'd ask though.
Re: Rockies Fans?
Though I still don't understand why most baseball fans think opposing fans in their ballpark should be like dead silent. With some, it's not even about actual obnoxious behavior.
"How could you come into our ballpark to watch your team, and y'know, in a non-offensive or gregarious manner, root for said team. We should stone those people after GBA."
Rockies fans at Fenway had better be/have been cheering their dudes on in the last coupla games, and if/when it makes it back to Fenway, they'd better do it then too.
"was it the best ever being at fenway?"
and it was a great game. i'm glad it wasn't a laugher like game. it was really tense fr the first few innings, until they took the lead in the 5th. and then it was tense but i certain confidence pervaded with oki and paps pitching. great stuff.
and i got interviewed by jim caple for espn, but he didn't use it in his segment (doh). i guess i wasn't at my most eloquent. he asked if the red sox were the new yankees and my wife said i looked like i wanted to punch him. oh well.
Re: "a laugher like game 1"
I can't be that quiet at games. Respectful yes, quiet no. :)
