the game starts off with a poor play by tavarez who broke to cover first base VERY late. let's add lackadaisical to the list of outstanding qualities found in hatchet face...

We won... against Roy Halladay. And Cora hit his first homer of the year (albeit with a little help from Alex Rios)!!!

Was at the game, get game despite the current Red sox woes, great play that turned into a DP by DP to erase the trouble that looked like Timlin was getting himself into

what a game! i just watched the condensed game and it brought back the feelings of april-june. wicked defense. pedroia had two outstanding plays at second, kapler a great dive in right field and pena a very nice pick at first. good times all around.

I liked the Alex Rios play

Re: I liked the Alex Rios play
Honest, talk about gift wrapping HR, it was almost as good as when what's-his-face last year caught a fly ball and threw into the stands because he thought it was 3 outs...ground rule double. Rios could have boobled it and let it hit the ground, but instead swats it into the stands. Best part, not ruled an error, Cora got credit for the HR even though it clearly was too short if not for the assist
